
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has made multiple interceptions across Nigeria, uncovering a wide range of narcotics and counterfeit materials in operations spanning Lagos, Abuja, and several other states.
On Thursday, NDLEA operatives at a Lagos logistics firm seized 420 grams of cocaine hidden in 84 lipstick tubes bound for the UK, and 280 grams concealed in a Certificate of Occupancy destined for Saudi Arabia.
In a separate operation, a suspected drug trafficker, Ajetsibo Emami (alias ‘Warri Kinsman’), was arrested in Ikeja on June 28, alongside three accomplices. Officers recovered 681 pouches of Canadian Loud, weighing 414.2kg.
Another bust led to the arrest of a family running an alleged drug network in Lagos. Businessman Ajah Johnson, his wife Rosemary, their daughters, and a family friend were taken into custody after officials recovered a total of 508.5kg of skunk from two locations
