Neymar Reacts to Brazil Snub, Vows to Keep Fighting for Recall

Date:

Santos FC forward Neymar Jr has expressed disappointment after being omitted from Brazil’s latest national team squad, admitting he feels “upset and sad” over the decision.

The former FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain star shared an emotional message following the announcement, but insisted his focus remains on returning to top form.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Neymar said he remains determined despite the setback, stressing his commitment to improving with every training session and match.

“I’m upset, sad, about not being called up. But the focus remains day after day, training after training, game after game. We’re going to achieve our goal. There’s still one final call-up left and the dream lives on,” he said.

The omission is largely linked to Neymar’s recent injury struggles and prolonged recovery period, which have limited his playing time and match fitness in recent months.

Brazil’s coaching staff are understood to have prioritised players who are fully fit and in consistent form, as the team prepares for upcoming international competitions.

The development also reflects a broader transition within the Brazil national football team, with younger talents increasingly being given opportunities as the squad evolves.
