Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has suggested that striker Nicolas Jackson could leave the club this summer, amid ongoing transfer activity at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, in comments shared by football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Maresca said, “During the window, anything can happen. That’s also the case for Nico Jackson. We signed two strikers… let’s see.”
Jackson’s future has become uncertain following the arrivals of new forwards, increasing speculation about his place in the squad.
Maresca also confirmed an injury setback, revealing that defender Levi Colwill is currently out. “We had a problem the last two days about Levi Colwill. We don’t know how long he will be out for. Hopefully not too long,” he added.
Chelsea are expected to make further changes as they shape their squad for the upcoming season.
