Oluremi Tinubu Calls for Renewable Energy Adoption in Nigeria

The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has urged citizens to embrace renewable energy to create a cleaner and healthier society. She delivered the message as part of the 2026 International Day of Clean Energy commemoration.

Oluremi emphasized the role of renewable energy and sustainable technologies in environmental protection. She described them as essential foundations for survival, healthy living, and responsible stewardship of the planet.

The First Lady called on all Nigerians to contribute to preserving the environment. She highlighted the shared responsibility of citizens in reducing pollution and promoting sustainable practices across the country.

Senator Tinubu linked her appeal to the International Day of Clean Energy theme. This year’s theme, “Clean Energy for People and Planet,” underscores the importance of collective action in addressing environmental challenges.
