
Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi has been honoured with the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Community Champion Award for the 2024/25 season, in recognition of his exceptional efforts in community outreach.
The Nigerian international was commended for his consistent engagement with local initiatives and his positive influence off the pitch. Nottingham Forest announced the recognition in a statement posted Tuesday on their official X (formerly Twitter) account.
“Taiwo Awoniyi has been named our PFA Community Champion for the 2024/25 season in recognition of his outstanding dedication to supporting local communities throughout the year,” the club wrote.
