SAD…. Yeye-Oba of Oke-Ode land, Rafat Oladunni is dead

The Yeye-Oba of Oke-Ode land, Alhaja Rafat Oladunni, is dead.  ROYAL NEWS gathered that the deceased, Yeye Oba of Oke-Ode land died on Tuesday night after a  brief illness.
Meanwhile, the National Executive Committee of Oke-Ode Community has commiserated with the the Elesa of Oke-Ode land, Oba Abdulquadri Adelodun, Alebiosu I, ruler over the huge loss.
A statement jointly signed by the National President of the Oke-Ode Community and the National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Nasrudeen Salawudeen and Mr. Kunle Akogun, respectively, described the late Alhaja Rafat as “an Amazon, a passionate community leader, a forthright Muslim and a devoted mother in all ramifications”
While describing the passage of the Yeye Oba as “a very sad loss to the community”, the statement recalled that the late Alhaja Rafat contributed immensely both morally and financially towards uplifting the socio-economic and religious status of Oke-Ode land.
The statement prayed Almighty Allah to overlook the late Yeye Oba ‘s misdeeds and accept her into Aljannah Firdaos and grant her immediate family and the entire Oke-Ode community the fortitude to bear the loss.
