The NASC nominees were confirmed after the presentation and consideration of the report of the Senate Committee on Establishment and Public Service, chaired by Senator Cyril Fasuyi (APC Ekiti North) during plenary.

President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio had recently read a request from President Bola Tinubu requesting the confirmation of appointment of the chairman and members of the NASC.
