A legal practitioner, Barrister Abdul Ibrahim, (SAN), has filed a motion under Enforcement of Fundamental Rights procedure for the embattled former Senator, Comrade Shehu Sani.
A statement made available in Kaduna by an aide to Senator Sani, Mallam Suleiman Ahmed, on Friday stated that the lawyer filed the motion for Sani vs EFCC and ASD, before Justice A.B Mohammed at High court no. 21 Gudu, at FCT Abuja.
The matter has already been slated for Monday 20 January 2020 for Ibrahim to move the application for Sani’s release.
Ibrahim is claiming N100 million against EFCC and ASD for damages, unlawful detention, and to release him forthwith.
