Sóun of Ogbomoso is divinely blessed, Emir Sulu-Gambari greets Oba Ajagungbade at 95

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has rejoiced with the Soun Ogbomoso land, Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III, as he clocks 95 years on earth today Thursday 27th May 2021.

In a goodwill message sent to Oba Ajagungbade III, issued by his Spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, on Wednesday, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari extolled the virtues of the celebrant and described him as a world class traditional ruler with a difference.

According to him, ” His Royal Majesty, Oba Ajagungbade III, a colossus of numerous accomplishments is divinely blessed with long life and equipped with wisdom to lead the people of the ancient town of Ogbomoso to greatness since his enthronement to the exalted stool of Śóun of Ogbomoso land.

“With close to 10-decade of existence on earth, the monarch has witnessed peace, prosperity and development, with natives and settlers alike in Ogbomoso, thereby enjoying all the rights and privileges as a global citizen.

“His invaluable contributions to entrepreneurship, trades and humanitarian activities through his business conglomerates have further confirmed that Oba Ajagungbade III is a detribalised Nigerian, promoter of unity in diversity as well as an elderstateman.”

While praying for continued good health and sound mind for Oba Ajagungbade III, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari further stressed that longevity is a divine gift and thanked God for bestowing it on the frontline royal father.”

The Emir also rejoiced with the people of Ogbomoso land, government and people of Oyo state over the gift of Oba Ajagungbade III to them and urged them not to relent in their prayers and support for him always.
