The Federal Government has announced the temporary suspension of its recruitment portal for four major paramilitary agencies: the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).
Originally scheduled to open on Monday, July 14, the portal—https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng—will now become accessible on Monday, July 21, 2025.
This development was disclosed in a statement by the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Major General Abdulmalik Jibrin (rtd).
Jibrin explained that the decision to delay the recruitment exercise is aimed at ensuring a smooth, transparent, and fair process for all applicants.
The Federal Government expressed gratitude to the numerous young Nigerians who have demonstrated interest in serving the nation through these paramilitary services.
