Tinubu To Attend 2025 Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit

Date:

President Bola Tinubu will attend the 8th Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit (NDIS) as the Special Guest of Honour, scheduled for November 11–13, 2025, in Abuja. The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, announced this during a press briefing on Friday.

She said the annual summit, launched in 2018, continues to attract diaspora investors and key industry players, adding that the 2024 edition generated over ₦673 million in investment deals. Dabiri-Erewa noted that this year’s theme, “Fast-Tracking Regional and National Development by Mobilising Diaspora Investment,” will focus on boosting growth across sectors including ICT, health, agribusiness, and creative industries.

Dabiri-Erewa also noted the broader economic impact of the summit, stating that it has contributed over ₦500m to the local economy through services procured from SMEs and creatives during past events.
