Uba Sani Predicts 95% APC Victory in Kaduna

Date:

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will secure 95 per cent of the total votes in the state during the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at a mega rally held in Kaduna over the weekend to welcome defectors from opposition parties, Governor Sani said the growing strength of the APC in the state reflected his administration’s focus on justice, fairness, and inclusivity.

“In 2023, APC had only four members in the House of Representatives from Kaduna, but today, we have 14. At the state assembly, we now have 26 APC members compared to the PDP’s eight,” he said. “I once told President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to expect 80 per cent of the votes from Kaduna, but I have shifted my ground — now, 95 per cent of the total votes will go to the APC in 2027.”

Sani assured new members that the party remains united and inclusive. “Those joining us today and those who have been with us since inception will enjoy the same privileges,” he added.

APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, described the party as “the promised land” for Nigerian politicians, praising both President Tinubu and Governor Sani for their leadership and achievements.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, said the APC had attained unprecedented political dominance in Kaduna State. “Whether in Zone 1, Zone 2, or Zone 3, APC is the party to beat. We’ve never been this strong before,” he said.

Hon. Husseini Jalo, speaking on behalf of the defectors, commended Governor Sani and President Tinubu for their “visionary leadership and commitment to development.”

The rally was attended by several top government officials, including Minister of Environment Alhaji Balarabe Abbas Lawal and Chairman of the North West Development Commission, Alhaji Lawal Samaila Yakawada, alongside thousands of APC supporters.
