UDUS lecturer, Prof. Qamar Majeed dies during lesser hajj in Madina

ROYAL NEWS reports that the varsity don died on Monday 2nd January 2023, in Madinnah, Saudi Arabia while performing lesser hajj, (Umrah), according to the deceased’s son, Usama Qamar Majeed.
His janaza was held today (Tuesday) at the masjid haram, Madina al-munawarah.
Checks revealed that late Professor Qamar Majeed had earlier lectured at the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero before joining the service of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
