The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR has rejoiced with the Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, on his 68th birthday.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari described the Sultan as a paragon of peaceful co-existence bringing humanity across all tribe, religion and social status together in Nigeria stressing that, “You are no doubt, a detrabalised Nigerian.”
This is contained in a congratulatory message issued by the Emir’s spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, on Saturday.
He also commended the Sultan for championing peace and conciliation programmes across the country and beyond as a traditional ruler and father to all.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari who extended the goodwill messages of the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council to the celebrant said: “I wish His Eminence, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar CFR, mni many more years of laudable accomplishments on earth. I urge him to keep doing the things he loves most: building bridges of peace, tolerance and development across Nigeria.”
The emir therefore enjoined family members, the Sokoto Emirate, the government and people of Sokoto State, friends and well-wishers to continue to support Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar with prayers for Almighty Allah to continue to strengthen and grant him more years of health and happiness on earth.
