Zanna of Ilorin, Engr. Yusuf Lanre Sagaya hails appointment of new Balogun Ajikobi

The Chairman of Ilorin Central Yidi Committee and Zanna of Ilorin Emirate, Engr Yusuf Lanre Sagaya OFR, has rejoiced with Alhaji Suleiman Omokayode Abdulwahab on his appointment as the 13th Balogun Ajikobi of Ilorin.

Sagaya,  who is also the Principal Partner at Yolas Consultants, in a goodwill message issued on Tuesday described Alhaji Abdulwahab’s emergence as a blessing and honour to humanity in general.

The traditional chief also thanked the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR for the quality selection aimed at sustaining and preserving the cultural heritage as one of the Kingmakers in Ilorin Emirate.

He however expressed his heartfelt felicitation to the people of Balogun Ajikobi home and abroad over the selection and urged them to rally round the new appointee in order to promote the unity, growth and development in their midst.

Engr. Sagaya therefore prayed that Almighty Allah strengthen the new Balogun Ajikobi, protect and grant him divine wisdom for a successful reign on the stool.
