Charles Idibia, popularly known as Charlybrave and younger brother to music icon 2Face Idibia, has publicly voiced concern over the singer’s well-being, accusing his partner, Natasha Osawuru, of manipulation and control.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Charles praised 2Face’s calm and selfless nature, describing him as a man who endures criticism silently to protect others. He likened the artist to a “modern-day Jesus” for his perceived patience and emotional strength.
However, Charles made strong allegations against Natasha, claiming she has isolated 2Face from his business and personal life, and manipulated his digital presence, including accessing his phone, cloning his WhatsApp, and misrepresenting him on social media.
According to Charles, Natasha allegedly sabotaged 2Face’s management and business ties in Lagos, convincing him to relocate to Abuja and assume a lesser role in her public life. He also accused her of impersonating 2Face online and interfering with his private communications.
“Wake up,” Charles urged his brother. “It can never be a crime to save yourself… You’ve been captured from the frying pan to an industrial furnace.”
The post has triggered a wave of reactions online, with fans expressing concern for the singer’s mental health and calling for support.
Several users prayed for 2Face’s peace and urged him to take control of his life, with some referencing past allegations made by the singer’s mother, Rose Idibia, who had earlier claimed Natasha was using spiritual means to control him.
Natasha Osawuru, a lawmaker in Edo State, is yet to respond to the allegations.
2Face, one of Nigeria’s most celebrated musicians, has not issued any public statement regarding the matter at the time of reporting.
