JUST IN….Two female students of Qalam varsity abducted

The rates at which bandits are operating in the country is becoming unbearable as two female students of Al-Qalam University, Katsina State, Habiba Ango Shantali and Maryam Abubakar Musa have been kidnapped.

ROYAL NEWS reports that the duo of Habiba and Maryam were abducted by bandits while on their way back to school on Monday, January 15, 2024.

Findings revealed that this ugly situation mah eventually set the standard of education in the nation backward especially girls child education.

Recalled that Nabeeha Al-Kadriyyah, a victim of kidnap was killed bear two days ago in an unknown location because of the inability of families to meet up with the dealine for ransome payment for a family of five.

However, the president of the National Association Of Niger State Students (NANISS), Comrade Gambo Idris Shehu, confirmed the incident in a statement signed by the Secretary-General, Comr. Mohammmed Ibrahim.

He said: “The National Executives Council just received a sad news that two of our students from Niger State who are studying at Al-Qalam University Katsina have been kidnapped on their way back to school,” the statement read.

“The victims, both from Borgu Local Government, are: Habiba Ango Shantali, a 200-level student from Political Science department and Maryam Abubakar Musa, a 400 level student from the department of Micro Biology.

“May Allah rescue them from the hands of those notorious people.”
