Tinubu makes eight fresh appointments [SEE NAMES]

Eight new permanent secretaries in the federal civil service have been appointed by President Bola Tinubu has appointed to fill existing and upcoming vacancies in some states and geopolitical zones.

They are Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu (Abia State), Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip (Bayelsa State), Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia (Ebonyi State), and Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam (Enugu State).

Others include Kalba Danjuma Usman (Gombe State), Usman Salihu Aminu (Kebbi State), Oyekunle Patience Nwakuso (Rivers State), and Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State).

A statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), noted that this is the second set of eight permanent secretaries appointed by the president, following those appointed last June from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, the South East, and the South-South.

According to the statement, the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation recommended the appointment of the new permanent secretaries after a diligent selection process.

President Tinubu urged the new permanent secretaries to demonstrate greater commitment, diligence, and innovation in serving the nation.
