Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan, also known as Madrina, has publicly revisited her long-running dispute with former record label executive Jude Okoye, accusing him of avoiding communication and speaking ill of her behind her back.
In a statement posted on Instagram, Morgan alleged that since their fallout in 2016, Okoye has consistently evaded her attempts to meet in person and has instead chosen to speak negatively about her privately.
“All you have done since 2016 is talk behind my back,” Morgan wrote. “All efforts to see you in person have been to no avail.”
She expressed disappointment over the unresolved issues between them, implying that Okoye has deliberately avoided facing her directly. “I know you are also disappointed in yourself, hence your ‘no face’ policy,” she added.
Morgan also accused Okoye of dishonesty and suggested he had withheld earnings due to her. She linked their conflict to a broader reflection on accountability and consequences.
“I know I had to reap my own destruction for sowing in flesh, and you too will reap yours for being an instrument and for holding back such earnings through dishonesty. As we all know, God cannot be mocked,” she said.
The dispute between Morgan and Okoye became public in 2020, when the singer alleged that her career suffered after signing with Okoye’s Northside Entertainment. Okoye denied the claims, stating he had fulfilled his obligations under their contract.
As of the time of this report, Jude Okoye has not responded to Morgan’s latest remarks.
