The long-standing feud between Nollywood actresses Lizzy Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo has resurfaced, following the public announcement of Priscilla Ojo’s pregnancy.
Priscilla, the daughter of Iyabo Ojo, recently revealed via Instagram that she is expecting her first child with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. Her announcement, accompanied by maternity photos, was met with widespread congratulations from fans and colleagues—but notably not from Lizzy Anjorin, a known rival of Iyabo.
The absence of a congratulatory message from Anjorin sparked online backlash, which she addressed in a fiery social media video. In her response, Anjorin directed harsh criticism at Iyabo Ojo and her family, accusing her detractors of hypocrisy and lashing out over past tensions.
“If she gives birth to 20 children, they will all perish,” Anjorin said in the video, referring to Priscilla, while calling Iyabo Ojo “a disgraceful human being.”
The comments drew swift condemnation, and Iyabo Ojo responded on her own social media platform. While affirming her preference for peace, she made it clear she would not tolerate verbal attacks or threats, especially those involving her daughter.
Iyabo stated that Lizzy’s remarks crossed a line and recalled previous occasions when she was allegedly defamed by Anjorin. She warned that should any harm come to her or her children, Lizzy Anjorin should be held responsible.
“If anything happens to me or my children, hold Lizzy responsible,” she said.
The renewed hostility has drawn mixed reactions from fans and followers of both actresses, many of whom have urged restraint and called for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing dispute.
