The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR has announced Wednesday 30th July 2025 for fidau for the late District Head of Ballah, Alhaji Yahaya Kawu AbdulKadir.
The prayer will be held at the Madrasatul Sheikh Solih Alimi, Emir’s Palace Ilorin beginning from 10am.
To be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad Bashir Imam Soliu OON, the prayer is expected to be attended by traditional chiefs as well as other dignitaries within the Ilorin Emirate and beyond.
ROYAL NEWS reports that Alhaji Yahaya Kawu AbdulKadir died last week Friday after a brief illness.
