Three Nigerian teenagers — Nafisa Abdullahi, Rukaiya Fema, and Khadija Kalli — have received fully-funded scholarships from the Atiku Abubakar Foundation (AAF) after excelling at the TeenEagle Global Finals, an international academic competition featuring participants from 69 countries.
In a letter dated August 5, 2025, and signed by Acting Secretary Prof. Ahmadu Shehu, the Foundation praised the girls’ “remarkable success” and awarded scholarships covering the rest of their secondary education and university studies at any institution of their choice.
Seventeen-year-old Nafisa Abdullahi was particularly commended for her outstanding performance in English, critical thinking, and articulation. The Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to supporting quality education, especially for girls and vulnerable groups.
President Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar also congratulated the students on their global achievement.
