The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that its main online recruitment examination for shortlisted candidates in the Inspectorate and Customs Assistant cadres will hold on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
In a public notice on Tuesday, the NCS said applicants have been divided into three batches—A, B, and C—and must log in with their National Identification Number via the official portal https://updates.customs.gov.ng to confirm their batch, date, and time of examination.
“The Main Online Recruitment Examination for all shortlisted Inspectorate and Customs Assistant Cadre applicants has been scheduled for Thursday, 9th October 2025,” the statement read.
The Service warned that strict adherence to the assigned batch and time is mandatory, adding that failure to comply could result in disqualification. Candidates were also instructed not to use calculators, mobile phones, or other devices during the exam and to avoid multiple log-ins or switching browser windows, which may affect participation.
The NCS clarified that this stage applies only to the Inspectorate and Customs Assistant cadres, with Superintendent cadre candidates to be scheduled at a later date.
