Delta North Senator, Ned Nwoko, has urged his wife, actress Regina Daniels, to enter rehabilitation to address alleged drug abuse and protect her overall well-being.
Speaking to journalists on Sunday, Nwoko emphasized that the decision is driven by concern for Daniels’ health and her ability to care for their two young children.
“I want her alive and healthy, not just for me, but for our children. They cannot fight for themselves, so I’m going to fight for them by safeguarding their mother,” the lawmaker said.
Nwoko explained that the call for rehabilitation followed toxicology reports showing elevated levels of harmful substances in Daniels’ system. He also noted changes in her behaviour in recent months, citing instances of violent and destructive tendencies alongside recurring health challenges.
“Many people have died of drug overdose. If anything happens to her now, what will I tell her children tomorrow?” Nwoko added.
The senator stressed that the move is aimed at ensuring Daniels is in the right state of mind to care for their family and safeguard her future.
