Controversial street pop musician Portable has revealed his plans to further his education, emphasizing the importance of balancing fame with professionalism.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, the singer, who holds an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from Kwara State Polytechnic, explained that his decision is motivated by a desire to better manage his career and set a good example for his children.
“I want to go back to school and finish my education. I’m supporting other people’s children and my own. I don’t want my children to be mocked because their father is illiterate,” Portable said.
He added, “I didn’t collect the certificate for the ND programme I did at Kwara State Polytechnic. But now, I want to go back to school so I can manage my music career better, and it will also help in my dealings with people.”
