Kwara United technical adviser, Suleiman Ashifat, says his team is fully focused on securing victory in their upcoming Nigeria National League clash against El-Kanemi Warriors.
The Harmony Boys are set to face the Borno Army at the El-Kanemi Stadium in Maiduguri this weekend, as they seek to build on their recent performance.
Ashifat said the team’s Week 12 draw against Nasarawa United has boosted their morale ahead of the fixture.
“Our next game is away to El-Kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri, and the result in Lafia is good for the team,” he said. “We will give our all to get the maximum points against El-Kanemi.”
Kwara United were held to a 1-1 draw by El-Kanemi in the corresponding fixture last season, with Risilanu Ismail and Emmanuel Ogbole scoring for the two sides.
The coach expressed confidence that his players are better prepared this time and capable of improving their away record in the ongoing campaign.
