
The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has expressed deep sympathy over the demise of Barr. Kunle Sulyman who died on Thursday.
The Emir’s Press Secretary, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, in a condolence message issued on Thursday night expressed the monarch’s condolences to the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, over the great loss.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari described the incidence as the will of Almighty Allah stressing that, “The deseased was a grassroot political icon and legal practitioner deeply connected to the downtrodden in the society.
“He was known for his numerous contributions to grassroot and community engagements as well as inspiring roles towards the advancement of the ideals of the Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and humanity in general.”
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari also extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate and extended family members of the deceased, especially the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in the state, Barr. Senior Sulyman over the irreplaceable loss.
The monarch prayed Almighty Allah to comfort the families left behind, forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and admit him into Al-janatul Firdaus.
