ADC Chieftain Claims Life Threat, Regrets Role in Party Crisis

Date:

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Nafiu Bala, has expressed regret over his alleged involvement in the party’s ongoing internal crisis, claiming his life is now under threat.

Speaking amid rising tensions, Bala said he did not anticipate the extent of the fallout from the political disagreements, adding that the situation has escalated beyond control.

“I regret my role in the ADC crises. I did not know it would reach this level. My life is in danger,” he was quoted as saying.

The ADC has been grappling with internal divisions in recent times, with factions accusing one another of sabotage, leadership imposition, and anti-party activities.

While details surrounding the alleged threats remain unclear, Bala’s statement adds to concerns over the deepening crisis within the party.
