Open cattle grazing becomes an offence in Lagos

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Monday signed the bill prohibiting open cattle grazing and trespass of cattle on land. He also signed domestic and sexual violence into laws.

He assented to the bill during the state’s Executive Council meeting in Alausa.

Sanwo-Olu directed security agencies to swing immediately into action and enforce provisions of the law.
