Wife of the president, Aisha Buhari said she has set a platform for the voices of women to be heard.
Aisha Buhari stated this at APC women flag off presidential campaign at metropolitan Square Ilorin, Kwara State on Thursday.
She expressed the optimism of women and youths to deliver in the forth coming general election
While highlighted the achievements of the presentation administration of president Buhamadu Buhari, said the party is a party of peace, progress urged the women to carry the campaign with seriousness and commitment
The Kwara State governor Abdulrahman Abdurazak who appreciated the choice of the state for the campaign said Asiwaju has the right network to take the country to greater heights given his achievements in Lagos state
He said he would continue to champion the course of women in the state both in governance
He said there is no vacancy for any other party in the state as the state is for Ahmed Tinubu
While highlighted the achievement of the administration in state he urged people of the state not to relent in their believe to the party
The first lady of Kwara State Dr. Olufolake Abdulrasak expressed optimism of women and youths to vote for the party n the state given the track records of the president administration
Dr. Oluremi Tinubu said the choice of Kwara is divinely chosen added that they would bring succour to unemployment youths in the state as well turn around the fortune of people of the state for good added that the state is indeed blessed.
Kwara State APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi said Kwara state is not a one party State, adding that the governor uplift the state the way it was, as well stressed the development of the state since inception of the present administration
He said the governor adopted all inclusive government as well brought back the glory of the state
He commended the wife of Tinubu for choosing Kwara state for the flag off campaign.
“Kwara will give Tinubu and Shettima one hundred percent support”, he said.
He Commended the governor for what he has done for women and youth in the state
APC Youth leader Hon Duduyemi Suleiman who commended the governor for his stride for the youths in the state said the youths would deliver as they did in the primary
National Women leader Dr Beta Edu said women would be priotise and expressed optimism of 40 million votes from women in the state
He urged women not to be distracted in their set goals
