Actor Uzor Arukwe has threatened legal action over what he described as false rumours linking him to a purported marital crisis between his colleague Bambam and her husband, Teddy A. The speculation followed the release of Arukwe and Bambam’s 2025 YouTube film, Love In Every Word, which recently gained renewed attention online.
In a statement shared on social media, Arukwe said a specific account had been identified as the source of the allegations and warned that the individual would face consequences. “A specific account has been identified to spread false rumors and baseless accusations about me and my professional engagement with another colleague in the industry,” he wrote, adding that he would not amplify the account by naming it publicly.
He further cautioned against using defamatory claims to gain online attention. “That individual will be made a scapegoat so others learn to respect boundaries and refrain from chasing clout… at the expense of damaging someone else’s reputation,” he stated.
The rumours emerged amid public scrutiny of BamBam and Teddy A’s marriage. While Bambam has not directly addressed the claims, Teddy A recently dismissed separate domestic violence allegations as false.
