Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has been declared the governorship candidate of the Accord Party for next year’s election.
The announcement was made on Wednesday during the party’s governorship primary held in Osun State.
Accord Party chairman in the state, Pastor Victor Akande, said Adeleke was the sole aspirant cleared for the ticket. He added that about 150 delegates were expected to participate in the primary process.
Adeleke, who is seeking a second term in office, recently joined the Accord Party after parting ways with his former platform.
