Blackburn Rovers defender Ryan Alebiosu has played down speculation linking him with a move away from the club, insisting he remains fully focused on his role at Ewood Park.
The 24-year-old Nigeria international has been linked with Premier League side Everton and Serie A outfit Genoa following his impressive performances in the Sky Bet Championship.
Alebiosu only joined Blackburn from Belgian club Kortrijk last summer and has since established himself as a regular in the Rovers’ squad.
His form at club level also earned him a place in Nigeria’s squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, although injury restricted him to just one appearance at the tournament.
Speaking on his future, Alebiosu said transfer speculation was not his concern, stressing his commitment to Blackburn.
“I have heard a few things but my mind isn’t on that. I am focused on getting as fit as possible and helping the team,” he said.
“Everything out there is not what I am looking at. I expect to be here, 100 per cent,” Alebiosu was quoted as saying by Rovers Extra.
