The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu as a steadfast pillar of support in the political journey of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a goodwill message marking her 65th birthday, the party extolled her contributions to family, public service, and national development.
The statement, issued by APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, read: “The APC extends warm felicitations to the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on the joyous occasion of her 65th birthday anniversary.”
The party noted that beyond her role as wife and mother, Mrs. Tinubu has been a consistent ally to President Tinubu, from his days as a pro-democracy activist to his tenure as Lagos State governor and now as Nigeria’s president.
According to the APC, “The First Lady has remained an inestimable treasure of support and dependable ally, for which our nation is thankful.”
The party also praised her humanitarian work, describing her as a devoted Christian, public servant, philanthropist, and politician. It highlighted her impact through initiatives such as the Renewed Hope Initiative and the New Era Foundation.
Through these platforms, the First Lady has provided scholarships, healthcare support, women and youth empowerment, and welfare for senior citizens, widows, and vulnerable Nigerians, the statement said.
“The National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, distinguished members of the National Working Committee, and millions of leaders and members of our great party join the First Family in celebrating our beloved First Lady as a true mother of the nation,” the party added.
The APC concluded by praying for her continued good health, strength, and wisdom in her service to family, country, and humanity.
