Bandits have killed one person and abducted two others in an attack on a community in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Security expert Zagazola Makama reported that the attack occurred around 12:15 a.m. on Monday when some youths were ambushed on their way to Barkin Ladi town. The gunmen opened fire, killing 25-year-old Dayes Alexander, while two others, Palang Daniel, 26, and Gabriel Ayuba, 25, were taken away to an unknown destination.
Security operatives have since been deployed to the area and are combing nearby bushes in search of the abducted victims. The body of the deceased has been released to his family for burial.
