Bayern Munich Confident Michael Olise Has Long-Term Future

Date:

Bayern Munich Sporting Director Christoph Freund has expressed confidence in winger Michael Olise’s long-term future at the club amid growing speculation over his next move.

Speaking on Olise’s prospects, Freund emphasized that Bayern is under no pressure to make immediate decisions regarding the player. “We can imagine him playing for Bayern for the next seven, eight, nine years,” he said, highlighting Olise’s long-term contract and steady development.

The French winger joined Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace and has quickly established himself as a standout performer. His technical skill and creativity have drawn attention from clubs across Europe.

Olise’s current deal keeps him at Bayern until 2029, providing the club with security over his future amid transfer rumors.

Freund noted that Olise has proven himself on the field, taking steps forward in his adaptation to Bundesliga football. “Michael has a long-term contract, he proved himself and took steps forward,” he added during an appearance on Sky90.

Reports suggest clubs from England and Spain are monitoring Olise’s situation ahead of the January transfer window, fueling speculation about potential moves.

Freund’s comments appear aimed at reassuring fans and quelling transfer rumors, underlining Bayern’s commitment to retaining the winger.

The club remains focused on Olise’s development and integrating him into their long-term plans rather than engaging in rushed transfer negotiations.

Bayern’s approach reflects a strategy of nurturing young talent while maintaining stability in the squad as they pursue domestic and European ambitions.

Olise’s performances continue to demonstrate his potential, and Bayern appears keen to secure his role as a key player for years to come.
