Big Brother Naija Season 10/10 housemate, Dede, has revealed that she battles social anxiety, explaining her often reserved and distant behavior in the house.
According to DAILY POST, Dede’s quiet demeanor and unwillingness to engage in physical contact — especially refusing hugs from male housemates — have sparked mixed reactions from other contestants, with some labeling her a “snub.”
In a recent conversation with fellow housemate Koyin, Dede disclosed her condition.Dede: “Do you have social anxiety?”
Koyin: “No, do you?”
Dede: “Yes, I do.”
Koyin responded with empathy, encouraging Dede not to worry too much about how she’s perceived, reminding her that “such is life.”
Earlier in the season, during her first diary session with Big Brother, Dede described herself as an introvert who “doesn’t like people” and finds it hard to connect with strangers.
She clarified that her refusal to hug housemates stems from not knowing them prior to entering the show.
Despite her challenges, Dede has steadily become a talking point on social media, with many fans commending her openness and honesty.
