Breaking…. Emir of Ilorin announces prayer time as Muslim Ummah mark Eid-el-Fitr tomorrow

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has disclosed that Eid-el-Fitr prayer will hold in Ilorin tomorrow (Wednesday) to mark the end of the month of Ramadan and beginning of Shawwal 1445AH.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, in a statement issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, said the Eid-el-Fitr prayer will be led by the Cheif Imam of Ilorin, Dr Muhammad Bashir Imam-Solih OON at the Ilorin Central Yidi praying ground by 9am.
The Emir rejoices with Muslim Ummah across the state and sent his heartfelt felicitations to the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and his cabinet members as well as the entire traditional rulers in the state for witnessing yet another auspicious moment earth.
He urged worshippers to be punctual at the Yidi praying ground and conduct themselves peacefully before, during and after the exercise stressing that, “they should cooperate with law enforcement agencies in order to ensure a hitch-free festival.”
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari therefore thanked religious leaders across the state for maintaining decorum throughout the Holy month of Ramadan and urged them to continue to uphold the spirit of unity, love and honesty at all times.
