The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has appointed a new Ajanasi-agba of Ilorin.
He is Mallam Yusuf Mujitaba Bature. The new Ajanasi-agba, 34years old, obtained Masters in Arabic from the University of Ilorin.
This contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Ilorin Emirate Council, Alhaji S.A. Lawal on Tuesday, ROYAL NEWS reports.
According to him, “The new Ajanasi-agba is currently an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics, University of Ilorin.
“He was Appointed after a painstaking Deliberation. Oral examination and screening of the qualifications of all the six Candidates who applied for the Post.”
