Chelsea have qualified for the final of this season’s Carabao Cup after defeating Middlesbrough 6-1 in the semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, as the Blues go through 6-2 on aggregate after they lost the first leg 1-0.
Chelsea have now reached the final of the Carabao Cup for the 10th time in their history,Only Liverpool (13) have reached the final more times in the competition’s history.
Cole Palmer had a brace while the likes of Noni Madueke, Enzo Fernandez,Alex disasi, scored for Chelsea and own goal by Howson.
The last time Chelsea featured in the Carabao Cup final was in 2022 where they lost 11-10 on penalties to Liverpool.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men will take on either Liverpool or Fulham in the final,we are moving to Wednesday’s second leg fixture, the Reds hold a 2-1 first leg lead over Fulham.
