Circulating Humanitarian Trust Fund Portal Is Fake — Betta Edu

Date:

Betta Edu

The Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu, wishes to inform the general public that a circulating portal “FG Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation Trust Fund Portal” did not emanate from the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.

The said portal is fake, created by undesirable elements with the sole intention of defrauding unsuspecting members of the public, according to a statement issued by the Minister’s spokesman, Rasheed Olanrewaju Zubair.

The Minister said there will never be a portal from either the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation or any other ministries departments or agencies of government or its partners to apply for or access funds from the Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation Trust Fund.

The general public is, therefore, advised to discount the circulating link to the alleged portal as it is the creation of a fraudster.
