The Chairman of the Gbenga Power Foundation, Gbenga Oyekunle-Power has congratulated Muslim faithful in Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole on the occasion of Eid-ul-Kabir celebration.

He also urged Nigerians to see the current economic situation in the country as hopeful and urged them to continue to exercise patience and be fervent in prayers for divine guidance from God.

Gbenga Power, who is also a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in a statement issued on Thursday implored Muslims not to use the time for festivities alone, but for sober reflection on the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim.

The APC stalwart said that without any doubt, what culminated into the celebration of Eid-ul-Kabir is a lesson for mankind to be pious and devoted to the worship of their creator.

Gbenga Power however enjoined Muslims to use the period to pray for the nation’s leaders at national and sub-national levels as they settle down for the business of governance.

The philanthropist also admonishd the people of Kwara State to continue to lend their supporting hands to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq whom he described as a game changer and initiator of new Kwara where everyone matters.
