The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has visited Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State over the death of the Emir of Zuru, Major General Muhammad Sami (Rtd).
He expressed deep sympathy to the Governor, the Zuru Emirate, and the people of Kebbi State, describing the late Emir as a revered leader whose legacy transcended the state.
He prayed for Allah’s mercy on the departed monarch and for strength to the family and people of Zuru to bear the irreparable loss.
Governor Idris, in his response, thanked the Emir of Kano for the solidarity visit, praying for Allah’s blessings and safe return for the royal father.
The visit underscores the enduring ties and mutual respect between the traditional institutions of Kano and Kebbi States, reflecting the nationwide reverence for the late Emir of Zuru.
