The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for honouring him with the naming of the newly constructed Unity flyover after him.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, in a message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, described the honour as a great gesture which will remain evergreen in the minds of the entire people of Ilorin emirate forever.
The monarch who promised maintain his status as an embodiment of peace and social harmony in the nation assures Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of his unwavering supports and prayers for his administration to excel in its mandate for the people of the state.
The Emir also eulogized the govenor for his exceptional commitments to the numerous National Projects as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum saying “We are always proud of your performances and we shall not relent in praying for you, your family and the entire members of your cabinet.”
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari however confirmed that the honour is not only to him but to the entire indigenes of Ilorin Emirate and Kwarans at large who have always find joy and fulfilment in his comfort with fervent prayers and good conducts since his enthronment as the 11th Emir of Ilorin about three decades ago.
The Emir therefore appealed to residents of the state to continue to live togther in harmony with utmost respect for constituted authorities in order to witness more growth and development in the state.
