The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has commended the wife of the State Governor, Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq, for her commitments to women and youths empowerment in the state.

The Emir thanked her for promoting morality, entrepreneurship and quality mentorship in a bid to curb restiveness among women especially during the current period of global pandemic.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari stated this in a statement issued on Friday by his Media Aide, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona. He noted with pleasure that the empowerment tools donated by the governor’s wife will further boost the economic status of beneficiaries.

According to him, “The vocational training as well as working tools provided for Kwara women and youths by Mrs. Olufolake is highly commendable and will go a long way in complimenting the efforts of the current administration in providing good governance for the electorates.

“It is pertinent for beneficiaries to make judicious use of the opportunities provided for them to improve on their well-being and society at large especially with the global economic woes occasioned by the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.”

The monarch however urged the governor’s wife not to relent in her efforts towards making Kwara youths and women prides of the state and worthy of emulation in the country .
