Emir of Ilorin mourns late Khalifatul-Adabiya, Ahmad KamaldeenThe Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibarhim Sulu-Gambari, has commiserated with the entire Muslim Ummah especially the Adabiyah Islamic group worldwide over the death of Alhaji Ahmad Olayiwola Kamaldeen who died on Friday (today).

The Emir, in a condolence message signed on Friday by his Media Aide, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, described the deceased as a retired civil servant of repute before he later ascended the position of his late father and founder of the Adabiyah Islamic movement, Sheikh Muhammad Kamaldeen Al-Adaby as its leader.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari also confirmed the tremendous contributions of late Ahmad Kamaldeen as a member of Ilorin Emirate Council of Ulamau in a bid to further uphold the Islamic doctrines and promotion of the religious culture, moral values and heritage of Ilorin community.

“He was known for his humility, tolerance and dedication to the course of Allah. His wise counsel and significance in the Adabiyah Islamic movement would surely be missed”, the Emir added.

While urging the family of the deceased to find solace in the fact the late cleric lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari prayed Allah to forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and admit his soul into Al-janatul firdaos.
