Emir Sulu-Gambari condoles with Emir of Okuta over mum’s demise
The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has commiserated with the Emir of Okuta, Alhaji Idris Sero Abubakar, over the death of his mother, Hajia Hawau Mangu, who died on Saturday.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari described the demise of the monarch’s mother as a big loss to the royal family of the Kperogi Affon Serobetete for her roles in the Okuta community and to humanity at large.
This is contained in a condolence message issued by the Emir’s spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, stressing that, “the place of motherhood cannot be underestimated in the lives of her children under any guise”.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari however urged the monarch who is also the Chairman Baruten Traditional Rulers Council to take solace in the fact that his late mother lived a fulfilled life.
“Inna lillahi Waina Ilaihi Rojihhun, on behalf of the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, accept my heartfelt condolences over the demise of our beloved mother, Hajia Hawau. Our hearts and prayers shall remain with you at this moment of grief.
May Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings, accept her good deeds and admit her into al-janatul firdaos”, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari added.
