The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has mourned the demise of the Executive Director of National Centre for Agriculture and Mechanisation (NCAM), Engr. Dr. Abdulgafar Kamal who died today, Wednesday 7th January 2026.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, in a condolence message issued by his spokesman, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, expressed sadness over the incidence, describing it as a great loss to the Ilorin Emirate and humanity in general.
The Emir commiserated with the wife and children of the deceased, immediate and extended family members, the Khalifatul Adabiyah and the entire Adabiyah movement worldwide over the great loss.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari who described late Engr. Kamal as a resourceful member of the Ilorin Emirate prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds and admit him into Al-janatul firdaos.
