Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, has boldly declared that no political coalition or opposition movement can prevent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from winning re-election in 2027, describing Tinubu’s emergence as “divine and inevitable.”
Speaking at the APC South East zonal meeting in Abakaliki on Monday, Nwifuru asserted that the 2023 election was beyond political strategy, framing it as a spiritual decision orchestrated by God Himself.
“God chose President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead this country in 2023, not based on noise or religious sentiments, but because He sees the heart,” he said. “And in 2027, no coalition can stop God’s plan. Tinubu will win again.”
He praised Tinubu’s economic policies and “courageous leadership,” stressing that the country needs a leader who takes bold decisions, not one who bends to public opinion or pressure.
“The President took decisive steps immediately after assuming office. He has capacity, vision, and boldness. That’s what Nigeria needs. Not empty coalitions.”
The governor called on dissenting voices and members of emerging coalitions to “close ranks” and support the APC, warning that resistance against Tinubu’s leadership is futile.
Nwifuru also used the platform to reinforce the APC’s dominance in Ebonyi State, commending the party’s zonal leaders for their efforts to strengthen democracy and broaden grassroots engagement.
“We must avoid imposition and promote inclusivity,” he added. “Internal democracy is key if the party must keep growing.”
The event also featured speeches from top party leaders, including Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, Ebonyi APC Chairman, and Dr. Ijeoma Arodiogbu, Zonal Chairman, who praised the governor’s performance and the party’s growing influence in the South East.
