Former Ilorin Emirate District Head’s wife dies at 120
The wife of Alhaji Saidu Alao Omo-Oloni Dan Bawa, the late first District Head of Ballah in the Ilorin Emirate, Hajia Asiawu is dead.
She died on Saturday 25th December 2021 at the age of 120years.
In a statement issued by the Personal Assistant to the Emir, Alhaji Murtala Abdulraheem, the deceased has since been buried according to Islamic rite.
“She was survived by the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, the former Chief Justice of Nigeria, (CJN) Justice Alfa Belgore (rtd) and Justice Ahmad Belgore among others.
“The fidau prayer has been scheduled to hd on Saturday 1st January 2022 at Emir’s palace, Ilorin”, he added.
